Hamdan bin Mohammed reviews Dubai Municipality plan for Emirati housing projects


Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed Dubai Municipality’s 2071 Plan to provide housing for Emirati citizens as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The plan outlines strategies for upcoming housing projects over a course of 50 years in addition to the rehabilitation of old residential areas in Dubai. The plan aims to provide Emirati citizens with quality housing in line with Dubai’s goal to enhance the happiness of citizens.

In presence of Dubai Deputy Ruler His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Crown Prince was briefed on the housing plan during a meeting with the Director General of Dubai Municipality Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah at the Executive Council of Dubai headquarters at Emirates Towers.

The meeting, attended by the Secretary General of the Dubai Executive Council Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, was a follow-up on the directives given by the Dubai Crown Prince to make Emirati housing projects a top government priority.
