Government of Dubai

The Government of Dubai is guided by the principles of trust, transparency and leadership to ensure the well-being of its people, sustain ongoing progress of the nation and safeguard the welfare of future generations.

The Emirate is a reflection of the ambition and continuous drive to improve, embodied by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

Dubai is a dynamic and robust emirate that is confident in its future and proud of its past. To maintain this forward momentum the government recognises the importance of working in partnership with its community in a transparent and accountable manner and follows an agile approach that allows it to continuously challenge and uplift its standards and services.

Celebrating his 50th anniversary of starting his first mission in serving his homeland and people, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, published the 50-Year Charter – nine articles that aim to develop the quality of life and guarantee a better future for generations. His Highness also shared the 8-point mantra of governance which The Executive Council use as a foundation for its operations across government entities across the emirate.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai, The Executive Council, has played a pivotal role in delivering the vision set out by Sheikh Mohammed. He has committed himself to implementing the 50-Year Charter and managing an integrated approach across all government entities.

Between the 50-Year Charter, that will be updated annually, and the 8 Principles, the Government of Dubai will continue to create positive impact for the community and outperform the excellence in government services.
