Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s  Tolerance Award” is the first global initiative to consolidate tolerance values and expand the cultural openness between peoples and communities. It also aims to motivate youths to make more efforts in the field of tolerance and support their intellectual, cultural and media productions which are related to the establishment of tolerance values and openness to the other in the Arab world. It is a biennial award. The Award has five categories, three of which are in honor of the efforts of the symbols of tolerance in human thought, literary creativity and aesthetic arts, and two in the field of competitions organized by the award and will be launched in the field of youth projects and new media.
