His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid AlMaktoum

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai is a major source of inspiration for the development of Dubai. His vision, wisdom and positive energy, as well as his decisive desire and eagerness to progress and achieve top ranks worldwide, were the main source of inspiration in developing the city of Dubai and creating a sustainable future for its citizens and residents.
His Highness published the 50-Year Charter – nine articles that aim to develop the quality of life and guarantee a better future for generations as well as the 8-point mantra of governance, which should form the basis for every operating government entity in Dubai.
His Highness said: “Besides our interest in pursuing and expanding sustainable development and investment, we are also expanding in various areas of human development. My vision for Dubai is to be the number one and to be a leader in the fields of education, healthcare and housing regionally and globally. I aspire to grant my people, the UAE nationals, the best standard of living. It is our right to be the world’s number one in education, healthcare, housing and all other fields.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Dubai Economic Agenda “D33” with the ambitious goals of doubling the size of Dubai’s economy over the next decade, and reinforce its position amongst the top 3 global cities.

1. Doubling the volume of Dubai's foreign trade and adding 400 cities to the map of foreign trade
2. Launching Dubai Green and Sustainable Industry Plan
3. Launching Dubai's Future Economic Corridors 2033 with Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia
4. A program to support the growth of 30 companies in new sectors to become global unicorn companies
5. Integrating 65,000 young Emiratis into the labor market in promising sectors
6. Launching Dubai Traders Project to empower the new generation of Dubai traders in key major sectors
7. Launching Dubai Unified License to provide a unified commercial identity for all companies all over Dubai
8. Launching "Sandbox Dubai" to allow testing and marketing of new products and technologies, to make Dubai a major hub for incubating innovations
9. Developing a program to promote the growth of SMEs by identifying 400 companies with high potential and supporting their capacity-building and global expansion
10. Launching the Dubai Project to attract the best international universities, to make the emirate a global leading center for higher education
