Dubai Schools

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has launched the Dubai Schools project to support the education system in Dubai through introducing a new model of schools with international education standards, focused on Arabic literacy, science and technology, UAE culture and Islamic studies.

Dubai Schools aims to provide high quality accessible education for students in Dubai through adopting principles of excellence in education from internationally recognized curricula delivered by reputable private sector operators.

 

Invest in Dubai

Invest in Dubai is the unified digital platform for businesses establishment, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The platform aims to reinforce Dubai’s position as a global investment destination and a top choice for investors and entrepreneurs locally and internationally. The Platform provides a seamless experience for doing business aligned with Dubai's smart outlook. It has become the largest unified platform that gives investors the opportunity to obtain commercial licenses and start business within a few minutes. It provides an easy and smooth experience that saves time and effort, further enhancing the attractive investment environment. 

Platform (04)

04 is the unified platform between Government of Dubai and its customers. It was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, in March 2023 with the aim of providing one platform to enhance customer communication and enables them to share their experiences and suggest feedback on improving government services. 

The Platform ensures a consistent experience that reflects a one-government approach, and is characterized by providing easy access through various channels. The smooth experience of 04 encourages the community’s participation in designing government services with the aim of improve them to meet their expectations and aspirations. 

Dubai Games

Launched in 2018 under the name Gov Games by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, the initiative was later rebranded as Dubai Games. This rebranding reflects the expanded vision of the event, aiming to inspire global participation, reinforce the principles of teamwork, and showcase the vibrant and dynamic spirit of Dubai.


Dubai Games encourages teams from government entities, the community including its juniors and international cities to engage in positive competition. It challenges participants through a series of innovative challenges that require collaboration and strategic thinking, with a focus on mental agility and physical endurance in high-stakes, competitive environments.
 

My Community - A City for Everyone

The "My Community... A City for Everyone" initiative, launched by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, in November 2013 with a vision of transforming Dubai into a friendly city for people of determination. It aims to support and strengthen the emirate’s efforts in empowering people of determination, enabling their participation and integration in the society. It also aims to create new work paths that enable people of determination for active participation within the society fully independently. 

The initiative supported the launch of the Dubai Strategy to Protect the Rights of People of Determination, which has enabled strengthening the institutional culture of all government entities to adopt the change required to achieving the ultimate vision. The strategy focuses on inclusive health, inclusive education, inclusive employment, social care and an inclusive environment. 

My Community promotes adopting a culture of inclusion with the fundamental belief that every person of determination has a contribution and must be empowered through independence. Therefore, the responsibility of achieving this is shared among all stakeholders from the government entities, private sector as well as the community at large.

 

City Makers

The City Makers initiative, launched by the Dubai Model Center in 2016, aims to enhance cooperation between government entities teams. The initiative supports creating taskforces from various relevant entities with the aim of designing exceptional shared government services. The ultimate objective is to achieve a one-government approach and create new and innovative services that cater to all segments of society and meet their expectations.  

The City Makers initiative also focuses on effective communication with customers. It employs special tools and initiatives to gather customer feedback on shared government services. 

As part of its efforts to support creativity and innovation in government services and anticipating future needs of customers, the center also launched the “Young City Makers” initiative in 2017. This sub-initiative focuses on engaging young people mainly students who are going to be the future customers of Government of Dubai services. It encourages young minds to present their ideas around redesigning government services and evaluating digital government services, while inviting them to propose new government services that will cater to their future aspirations.
