Government communication holds a strategic role in Government of Dubai. The General Network of Government Communication (GNGC) provides the communication support for government policies. It encourages adopting the latest practices in the field of communication, raising awareness of government initiatives and services. It aims to keep pace with the rapid changes in the global media landscape and is in line with Dubai’s position as one of the world’s leading and most vibrant cities. 

Established In 2009, the Government of Dubai formed the General Network of Government Communication (GNGC), compromising of communications officials from government entities, aiming to supporting the government’s general image, streamlining its messages, and unifying communication efforts. 

The Network aims to: 

• Strengthening the identity and reputation of the Government of Dubai through effective, consistent, and impactful communication. 

• • Creating a cohesive framework for communicating government news and success stories, promoting a unified voice in support of the leadership’s vision. 

• • Providing a platform for sharing experiences, knowledge, and best practices among government entities, fostering collaboration and integration. 

• • Embracing global best practices and fostering innovation in government communication.
